Since both Elizabeth and I are gearing up for holiday craft show season (as well as holiday shopping season at The Foundrie!!), I thought it would be fun to take a moment and share a few pieces from our respective collections. Then in October we will start showcasing some of the new artists and designers whose work will be sold at the shop during the holidays!! Here goes!
For the 2012 holiday season, Just Liv will feature full turbans and headbands in rich velvets and sparkly metallics, fringe earrings in every shade of the rainbow, peter pan and embellished collars (which are adorable and totally on trend for fall/winter), felted floppy hats, and a variety of other amazing accessories.
My jewelry line for The Foundrie this holiday season features wood charm necklaces in a variety of designs including robots, kiwi birds, dinosaurs, and unicorns with even more to come in November. These necklaces are available in a hand dyed version and an unfinished wood version as well.
And I am excited to introduce my tiny brass charm necklaces with triangles, anchors, and an assortment of sourced vintage charms. In addition to these new necklaces, I am continuing to create my braided leather bracelets using discarded upholstery remnants in a warm fall color palette including chestnut browns and crimson reds.
You can find these Just Liv accessories alongside some of the pieces from my jewelry line, this weekend at Strange Folk Festival in O’Fallon, IL, in November at the 9th annual Rock ’n Roll Craft Show here in St. Louis, and of course at The Foundrie in Chesterfield all season long.
We are looking forward to a bustling, busy, handmade holiday shopping season and are excited to have the opportunity to share our hand crafted jewelry and accessories with you all. Supporting local artists, independent designers, and your local economy has never been more important than it is right now and we are so grateful to be involved and supported by a community of amazing creatives and smart consumers. You guys mean the world to us!!
Hey ladies! Your work is looking absolutely lovely. What a fun photo shoot too! Shelah, I grabbed one of your vintage arrowhead charm necklaces and it’s divine! Have fun with the upcoming season. I am so glad to be a part of it.
